Santa Fe Real Estate Scene
September 2002 |
In light of the current bear market underway for the past two
years; we wanted to pass along a note of humor, given to us by
US Trust. We are reminded to diversify our investments and
long term strategies - including real estate in Santa Fe, New
Mexico.
Bud Light -
If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year
ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have
$16.50 of the original $1,000.00. With WorldCom, you would
have less than $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth
of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all
the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you
would have $214.00. Based on the above, our current investment
advice is to drink heavily and recycle.
**From Santa Fe One Real Estate -
Real estate is your investment alternative to the stock
market. Take advantage of a demand-driven market in Santa Fe -
steady gains in value while taking advantage of tax
deductions. Diversified portfolios are stronger portfolios.
Due to today's historically low interest rates, why not invest
in Santa Fe Real Estate?
